ARD, Inc. is the implementing partner for the USAID funded Civic Engagement Program. ARD, Inc. is looking for experienced professionals to be based in our Jerusalem Office for the following position:
Information Technology Specialist (ITS)
Number of positions: One
Duration: 23 Months
Location:
This position is vested with managing network administration, database design, internal and remote information management, visual product development, and troubleshooting services for effective CEP program operations. Primary responsibilities of the ITS include ensuring network optimal stability, maintaining local area network (LAN) in Jerusalem office, providing internal and remote support and troubleshooting services to staff, and training staff in IT applications as necessary.
Other requirements include:
-Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems/technology
-At least five years of practical experience in Microsoft environment, network configuration, proven experience in database design and troubleshooting hardware and software problems
-Strong analytical skills
-Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English (written, aural and verbal)
-Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work within a team, at a fast pace and under pressure
