JOB OVERVIEW:
Handle all Business Intelligence which collate information on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis with regards to business KPIs (sales, marketing ROI online & offline, costs, resources, etc) competition KPIs and other macro and micro indicators.
This position reports to the Head of Sales and Marketing. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure a standardized process for reporting is set in place and ongoing reports are provided to management through set periods. The position holder is responsible of ensuring quality data and analysis is provided so management ensures proper decision making.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Handle all Business Intelligence which collate information on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis with regards to business KPIs and other macro and micro indicators,
Establish a vision for the delivery of information and analytics solutions to management to allow for data-driven decision making
Drive this vision through the development, deployment, and adoption of business intelligence and reporting tools, as well as the delivery of reporting and analytical solutions to management,
Manage the report development effort based on functional specifications and deliver high quality reports, dashboards and analytics to meet the needs of various business units,
Make recommendations to changes in the report delivery system, including underlying data elements, structures, and supporting applications.
Respond in a timely manner to all information requirements with innovative and effective solutions,
Take ownership of the CRM and ensure data is complete and accurate at all times,
Support and train RMs on CRM usage and provide periodic refreshment training sessions,
Establish and maintain data models, data marts, data warehouses and standards by seeking the support of the technology team,
Conduct competitive research and provide management with intelligence on competing firms and the competitive landscape.
PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
1. All reports are provided on time and with complete accuracy
2. All reports incorporate intelligent analysis regarding business KPIs.
3. All RMs/ support to be fully trained and CRM usage is maximized
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience within a similar role
Job-Specific Skills:
1. Skilled with reporting mechanisms and reporting standards
2. Very strong reporting tools knowledge, including MS-Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, Business Objects.
3. Very strong analytical skills.
4. Previous CRM experience, Salesforce.com experience is a strong plus.
Generic Skills:
1. Candidate must be well organized and efficient.
2. Must be self-driven and always willing to enhance standards.
